Don Jarker

Day off sick

feel of blue

coffee brews

what to do?

Write a verse

long ponder

stretch my legs

short wander

Check DMs

then doom scroll

funny cats

then eyes roll

Custard creams

tocks and ticks

ginger snaps

browse Netflix

Online shop

spending spree

add to cart

pay in 3

Dating app

profile done

I swipe right

just for fun

Cakes for lunch

choco drinks

I nod off

40 winks

Still not right

need a boost

count chickens

home to roost

Online bets

instant win

cash limits

max and min

Horses on

back the grey

just £5

but each way

Casino

evens red

3 free spins

habit fed

Better now

now not tired

funny thing

I’m retired
